My mother introduced me to scrapbooking about 15 years ago. She was attending an beginners class at a local scrapbooking store and invited me to go along. I will never forget sitting in that class with my mom when she looked across the table at me and said, "What was I thinking bringing you here, like you need one more hobby." Well, little did my mom know what she started my taking me to that class. Here I am 15 years later, still scrapbooking like crazy (all the other hobbies have fallen by the wayside over the years) and making money doing what I love! Ironically, I now teach my mom new techniques. Alas, the student has bypassed the teacher.
I love creating scrapbooks and custom gifts for others. Nothing makes me happier than to see the look on someone's face when they are looking through their memories in a whole new way. It is amazing how displaying your photos in a scrapbook can bring about memories; you begin to see your photos in a whole new light.
